Simmons Ink and Stitch is co-sponsoring National Family Literacy Day

which is coordinated by

Connie Gregory, of Lit' For Life Family Literacy, Inc. 

The annual event targets families with children to read together. The event is offered to especially encourage minority families to re-engage with their families, to read and encourage family literacy. The event is free and open to the public. The event will provide families with educational information on books, reading services and other reading sponsored services and events that will encourage families to read together.  Be sure to have your children take part in the poster contest! There will also be vendors, games and fun... and of course... shopping at Shoppingtown Mall! See you there!
